The One True Love of Alice-Ann by Eva Marie Everson #BOOKREVIEW

The One True Love of Alice-Ann by [Everson, Eva Marie]  To order your copy click here

Beautifully written, set in the 1940's.
You can't help but just breathe in the scenery, the age of radio, pearl harbor and wartime love. Written in such a way that you feel a little lost in time going back to a simpler life. Alice-Ann turns 16 and is set to tell the love of her then life, Mack,  her feelings when Pearl Harbor hits. Alice writes to him as he goes to war  with no concrete returned affection from him.  Life has funny turns and she ends up being the care taker for another man and she begins to have some changes of heart. One day Alice gets a call that proves a bit unsettling from overseas that helps to shape her destiny. I loved this book and gave it a 5 out of 5. I did receive this book for review purposes and no monies were exchanged.

Sewing is good for the soul - I love this dress as it is 1/2 apron and works perfect for Moms who love to garden and have small children :)
